Hari ubwatsi bushobora guhubikwa”silage making”. Ubwatsi buhunikwa muri ubu buryo ni nk’urubingo,ibigori n’amasaka. Uko guhubika ubwatsi bikorwa

Ubwatsi bugomba gutemwa bugeze mu gihe cyo kuba bufite intungamubiri zihagije. Urugero nk’ibigori bigomba gutemwa igihe ukana ugasanga akabuto kazana amata naho urubingo rugomba gusarurwa rugeze mu burebure bwa metero 1 kugeza kuri metero imwe n’igice (1m-1,5m) z’uburebure. Hakorwa umwobo ruzahubikwamo.

Kugira ngo umwuka utinjira mu mwobo,hakorwa ibi bikurikira:

ü  Gucagagura ubwatsi mu duce twa santimetero 5-10 kugira ngo butsindagirike neza;

ü  Gutsindagira ubwatsi nyuma ya buri cm20 kugeza umwobo wuzuye neza;

ü  Gukoresha umwobo ufite impande zigororotse;

ü  Kuzuza neza hagati kugira ngo mu mpande hatsindagirike neza;

ü  Batsindagira buri kirundo n’ibirenge cyangwa bagahirikaho ingunguru bujujemo amazi kugira ngo iremere;

ü  Bagenda buzuza hagati ya cm20-cm30 bagatsindagira;nyuma yo kuzuza baba bashashe mu mwobo shitingi barenzaho iyindi shitingi nyuma bakarenzaho ubutaka kugira ngo umwuka uheremo;

ü  Gufunga neza umwobo n’ihema riremereye bakarenzaho ibisinde n’ibitaka”uburebure bwa sentimetero 50)bituma gutsindagirika bishoboka kandi umwuka ntiwinjiremo;

ü  Iyo ihema ricitse,umwuka winjiramo ugatuma ubwatsi buhunitse bubora. Si byiza ko amatungo kuko byagaragaye ko atari byiza kandi byagabanya n’umukamo;

ü  Ubwatsi buhugutishije neza usanga bwenda gusa n’icyatsi cyumye cyangwa kibisi,cyangwa se ibara riri hagati y’urucaca n’igitaka kandi bufite impumuro ikaze ariko itari mbi.

Ni ngombwa gukoresha ubwatsi  bufite amazi make,ni ukuvuga bwahongeshejwe nibura amasaha 3 cyangwa 4. Ni ngombwa kandi gukoresha ubwatsi bufite ibinyamasukari bihagije nk’ibinyampeke binyuranye. Ibinyamisogwe bigomba guhongererwa bivangwa n’ibinyampeke (1/3 kuri 2/3) cyangwa umushongi w’ibisheke. Byaba byiza hakoreshejwe ubwatsi budafite intungamubiri nyinshi kugira ngo butabora. Ni ngombwa kurinda umwobo ibitaka byatuma ubwatsi bubora. Ni ngombwa guteganya umuyoboro mu ndiba y’umwobo utuma amazi akamuka mu bwatsi asohoka hanze. Ni ngombwa kuzuza umwobo vuba vuba mu gihe cy’umunsi 1 cyangwa 2 bibuza ubwatsi gutakaza intungamubiri bitewe no guhumeka. Umworozi agomba kuzitira umwobo kugira ngo awurinde amatungo n’abantu.

Ibyiza byo guhubika

Kubika ubwatsi biroroha kandi ntibigombera umucyo w’iminsi 2 nko kubwumisha ku zuba. Gukoresha amoko y’ubwatsi atanga umusaruro mwinshi kandi adashobora kumishwa nka tiribusakumu,urubingo,ibigori,amasaka n’andi.  Ubwatsi bushobora kubikwa mu gihe cyiza bukungahaye ku ntungamubiri. Ubu buryo butuma habikwa amababi yose cyane ay’ibinyamisogwe nubwo bibikika bigoranye ku mpamvu z’ingufu nkeya bifite ugereranije n’ibyubaka umubiri. Mu rwego rw’imirire hatakara bike ugereranije no kumisha kandi burika neza. N’ahanyu rero borozi kwita ku matungo yanyu muyakorera ibikwiye byose ngo atange umusaruro uhagije kandi ase neza.
